Every now and again,

between great expanses of time,

there comes a meeting, a miracle,

a collision of dynamic energy, passion and zeal, a zest, a two better as one.

Watching them,

one sees Love, one knows Love.

You see, they've known Love, they've honored Love, they've kept Love in their gaze for every day of their years, they've pursued Love.

And Love gently guided them. With a smile, I'm sure.

And when they meet, when their paths collide, this Love becomes greater.

It blossoms, it radiates, it promises more.

This is them.

And we were privileged enough to be part of their day.

Their day of celebration.

Capturing the moments that they'll come back in their lives' mountaintop experiences,

so high and beautiful, magnificent,

laughing at the secrets only they know, the intimacy of inside jokes and silent knowledge,

We were there capturing the moments they'll come back to as solid ground when the lows are so very low, when their marriage, their divine promise,

is needed to sustain, to grow, to continue their Love.

We watched them hide and anticipate their union.

We watched them surrounded by their closest ones.

The joy was contagious.

This joy, it swelled, it bubbled, it lit the room.

We watched them shine, their eyes for only each other.

They were meant for each other.

And then they were one,

and their forever has begun.
