We've had a few of those summer-teaser days lately,
just in time for school spring breaks.
So most leave town, vacation elsewhere, replenish, renew,
and then there are some,
who stay,
and serve,
and sweat.
I was asked to photograph some of these youth in action this morning.
Westside Family Church offered the opportunity to their students to step in where they are most needed this break,
some painting,
some cleaning,
some rebuilding,
some playing alongside those they're working for,
but mostly
just loving some.
The sun shines a little brighter for them today.
